What an eventful week it has been. The son started an internship job, the husband came down with severe gastroenteritis and the daughter took off to the Caribbean for an archaeological dig.
Son’s busy working, and the daughter has found skull bones, tibia bones and pottery shards. They work with very important looking equipment. She is sunburnt, a part of the shelter fell on her and it is hot – but she is having the time of her life.
They found a skull here.
Me – I started swimming in earnest. It started very slowly, a few lengths at a time, but it is going well!
Coming up next is a recipe for waffles. I have been making it ever so often, as its the family’s favourite. Every time the son and daughter come back home, the son’s girlfriend, and four of us sit down to a brunch meal of waffles with fruits (strawberry being the favourite), Bloody Mary, Mimosas, and eggs. Dogs prance around hoping to get a piece of the buttery maple syrup laden waffles, but my fatties don’t need them, so they don’t get them!
Have a super weekend – Try and make those waffles. Let me know how you like them!
